Truck 161 Responded with 3 Vehicle Rescue Technitions (VRT). Chief 161 On-Scene reported no entrapment but 2 injuries. Truck 161 Crew along with Dravosburg, 131, Handles stabilization and fluids. Glassport Engine Crew along with Clairton, 123, handled debris clean-up. All crews cleared without incident.

11-9-2007 --- Incident 323 & 324
Station 161 was dispatched 0930 hours for a residential structure fire at the corner of 7th. and Ohio Avenue in Glassport. Upon arrival on scene, 161 Truck faced an attic fire which had already began to vent itself through an attic window. 161 Engine and Squad soon arrived on scene. Crews soon had the blaze under control and the home suffered minimal fire damage while sustaining moderate water damage. As 161 crews and mutual aid crews were cleaning-up, at 1216 a confirmed structure fire was reported just a block down the road at 608 Ohio Ave. Crews quickly responded what came to be a 3 story residential dwelling with heavy fire and smoke coming from the second and third floors, fire spread fast through the old-wooden structure to a neighboring house. Crews from 161 and all the mutual aid companies did a great job to suppress both fires and keep them from being worse. Two house fires, in just 3 hours, just a block away. This day came in 2's.
Glassport Fire Departments were dispatched at 1940 for a reported Commercial Structure Fire @ 3rd. and Monongahela. Police on scene reported heavy smoke coming from the front of the car wash along Monongahela Ave in Glassport. Police advised units in route that the owner had extinguished a small dryer fire in the utility room. 161 Truck responded to the scene and ventilated the structure, all other 161 and 162 units wereheld in station. Chief 161 on scene following ventilation cleared all units at 2015.
Crews from station 161 were dispatched at 1845 into station 142's district for a working structure fire, at 900 Hayden Blvd. in Elizabeth Township. 161 Truck and Squad arrived on scene at 1854 and assisted with manpower and suppression as well as overhaul. 161 crews remained on the scene until 2110. Following, 161 crews transferred to Blaine Hill station 142 for a stand-by.
